What we collect
Account data (email; GitHub profile basics if you sign in with GitHub), the content you post (submissions, comments, profile), and engagement data (stars, follows, views). View counting uses a one-way hash of your IP and browser that rotates daily — we don't store raw IP addresses with your views.
How we use it
To run the platform: showing your public profile and content, counting stars and views, sending in-app notifications, ranking trending builds, and preventing abuse. We use privacy-friendly aggregate analytics to understand traffic. We don't sell your data or run ads.
Where it lives
Data is stored with Supabase (database, auth, file storage) and served via Vercel. Embedded community projects are third-party sites with their own privacy practices.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your submissions and comments anytime, and remove your profile photo. To delete your account and its data entirely, email hello@vibestar.ai and we'll process it promptly.
